This report, done for the planning board last year, gives great insight into our growth, especially as it relates to our swelling schools. The punchline is that the schools’ growth isn’t dramatically coming from new housing but the back-filling of older folks leaving and younger families moving into the same house. This is a hard thing to control but indirectly, encouraging aging-in-place helps our schools not overflow.
